Owner STX-38 Zo Wire Treble

When the hook company Owner from Nishiwaki-shi in Japan come up with a new design for a tube fly hook – they have our attention and we could not wait to try out the latest Owner STX-38ZN treble hook 

The Z stands for Zo wire construction – something exclusive for Owner who has managed to formulate a wire that is 20 % smaller in diameter than standard steel wire. With a very slick shadow, grey coating, that should increase hook penetration and reduces light reflections to help camouflage the hook.
